There is no airport on the island of Amorgos. The island can be reached from the Piraeus port by ferry or fast ships that are more frequent during the summer.

By ferry the trip is about 9 hours long, taking a fast ferry the time halves.

Blue Star Ferries makes daily trips to the island of Amorgos also in winter, except on Saturdays.

The port of Piraeus is connected to the airport of Athens by an efficient and regular bus service.

Tickets must be purchased before getting on the bus; they are available at the kiosk located on the right just outside the airport exit. The cost is €3,20. The duration of the trip is approx. 1 hour.

The bus stop is right in front of the entrance of GATE E8 in the Piraeus port where both the flying cat and the highspeed ships of the Hellenic Seaways are docked. From the bus stop get to the corner of the street and make a right. The Hellenic Seaways tickets booth will be about 100m farther ahead.
